The short version

BrainGaugehas no user accounts. Your quiz answers and personal best scores are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. We also collect anonymous analytics events, such as test starts, completions, result buckets, and share clicks, to understand which tests work well.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal details.
  • We do not store your full answer history or question-by-question responses.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your personal best scores so you can track improvement. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings; it deletes everything.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, which may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Analytics

We use anonymous event analytics to understand the test funnel: visits, test starts, sparse progress milestones, completions, result views, retries, share clicks, and client errors. Events may include a random visitor ID, session ID, page path, referrer, language, screen size, browser user agent, score value, and score bucket. We use this for aggregate product analysis, not to identify you personally.

Children's privacy

Our content is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
